Assessing Your Pets Quality of Life
When your pet is facing aging, illness, or a decline in health, knowing when they are still comfortable and enjoying life can be difficult. Our in-home Quality of Life Assessments provide a compassionate, personalized opportunity to evaluate your pet in the comfort of their own home.
During the assessment, we will discuss your pet’s current health, comfort, mobility, appetite, daily activities, and overall well-being. We’ll help you identify changes that may indicate a declining quality of life and provide guidance on ways to support your pet’s comfort.
Our goal is not to tell you when it is time to say goodbye, but to give you the information and support you need to make an informed, compassionate decision when that time comes.

Quality of Life assessment using an evidence-based scoring tool

Time to discuss your pet’s condition, answer questions, and review available care options
Our goal is to provide you with compassionate guidance and the information you need to make an informed decision that is best for your pet and your family.
If You Choose Euthanasia
There is no pressure or expectation to make a decision on in home euthanasia the same day. We want you to have the time and space you need to make the choice that feels right for you and your pet. If you do decide to proceed with euthanasia during the same appointment, the decision will need to be made within a reasonable amount of time so our veterinarian can give your family and your pet the adequate time, care, and attention you deserve, without feeling rushed. Additionally, if the decision is made same day, you will receive a discounted rate on the in-home euthanasia service as part of your Quality of Life Assessment. If you decide to schedule euthanasia for a different day, you will receive 10% off our regular in-home euthanasia fee as a courtesy following your Quality of Life Assessment.
Travel and aftercare services are not included in the discounted euthanasia fee.
